Magellan Logistics sponsors the NBAA



Magellan Logistics joined the Northern Business Council earlier this year and have also agreed to support the “Northern Business Achievements Awards” in sponsoring the Annual Customer Service Award.

This is a great opportunity for Magellan to illustrate their support to the northern businesses and also included sponsoring the quarterly breakfast in September.

We look forward to attending the Annual awards in December and congratulating the winner of the Customer Service award.

 
DP World West Swanson Terminal Stop Work Meeting

LLDCN Awards 2009

And the winner is...

The 2009 LLDCN Shipping and Transport Awards were held in Sydney on 26^th November before a capacity crowd at the Wentworth Sofitel.  These awards have become a gala event and are attended by Australian Shipping and Transport Leaders who come together to celebrate the achievement of their peers. One such award presented on the night is Freight Forwarder of the Year.

This prestigious award is for companies displaying excellence in Freight Forwarding, in terms of service and efficiency in sea, air road or rail freight. This year’s winner was Magellan Logistics.  Finalists in the 2008 awards, Magellan Logistics took out this year’s awards with their ongoing commitment to providing seamless and effective forwarding and their yearning to continuously find ways to streamline the forwarding process with their clients and international partners.

“Over the past 12 months in conjunction with our China partners, we have been developing an electronic documentation transfer system, to provide a seamless flow of information from order booking. This electronic interface allows all stakeholders (suppliers, our partners and our clients) the ability to send and receive information as it happens.  This will provide our clients instant and online visibility assisting order management and product delivery” explains Director, David Thatcher

Magellan’s ongoing commitment to Green Efficiencies, and their understanding that it’s their Team that makes them a front runner in the industry, is part of what has enabled them to take out this year’s highly coveted Freight Forwarder of the Year Award.
